Due to us working closely around your eye area, certain treatments such as tints and lifts require us to perform a patch test in order to make sure you are not allergic to any of the products we use in the treatment. A patch test is a quick and simple appointment, where your therapist applies a small amount of the products to be used behind your ear. This needs to be done at least 24 hours before your treatment. A reaction will be redness, itching, swelling, or anything out of the ordinary, but please don’t worry reactions are incredibly rare.
This does vary depending on what treatment you have but a good guide is between 4-6 weeks.
For some treatments no, and for others yes. Lash lifts require you to keep your lashes away from water for the first 24 hours, but little aftercare from that point onwards. Your therapist will provide you with information at the end of your treatment, and we also have printed aftercare cards that we can provide for you.
One way to think of a lash lift is like a perm for your eyelashes. Unlike a lash extensions, a lash lift simply alters the shape and colour of your natural lashes. The treatment lasts 45 minutes and involves lifting each individual lash, before tinting them for thicker, darker, longer looking natural lashes. The results last for 6 weeks with very little maintenance.
Brow lamination involves straightening and lifting the eyebrow hairs, which allows them to have more flexibility to move into your desired shape. We focus on ensuring the most natural looking result, covering any gaps or stray areas. The treatment also includes an eyebrow tint and shape for the complete look.
Classic lashes are where a single eyelash extension is applied to each one of your own lashes, giving length, curl & depth to your own lashes. Russian lashes are where a fan of 4 or 5 much finer lashes are applied to each one of your own lashes. This gives you extra fullness, length and curl and a more dramatic effect. We also offer a Hybrid which is a mix of the two for a fuller but more natural look.
