In addition, a natural collagen induction response is stimulated resulting in skin rejuvenation and younger looking skin. Over a period of time new collagen is produced and old misaligned collagen is broken down, which strengthens the elasticity and firmness of the skin, improving skin texture and maintaining a youthful appearance.

Microneedling is an aesthetic based treatment which means that it is more medical grade than holistic. The lights will be on, your therapist will be in PPE, and there are will be none of the facial massage routines that you might be used to. The results are immediate, last longer, and are very effective.

Microneedling isn't overly painful and there are techniques that we use to minimise discomfort. There may be some redness and minor skin irritation after the procedure but this lasts for 24-48 hours only. Microneedling is proven to be an effective and minimally invasive way to improve the health of the skin.
You will experience some redness and flushing immediately after your treatment, but this calms down very quickly. Your skin may also feel tight and sensitive to touch for a few days afterwards, but again this calms down very quickly. Your skin will feel more "thirsty" so lots of lovely hydrating serums and moisturisers are in order, your therapist will guide you on what's best for your skin.
